Mr. Magoo is a 1997 live-action comedy film based on the original cartoon of the same name. The film was produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar Animation Studios and Troublemaker Studios, and starred Leslie Nielsen as the title character, along with Kelly Lynch, Matt Keeslar, Nick Chinlund, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Ernie Hudson. It was produced by Ben Myron and was the first English language film made by Hong Kong director Stanley Tong. The film received universally negative reviews and was a box office bomb, however, the film's failure was mostly due to it being pulled from theaters after just two weeks.
